1.1. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all driving tuition services provided by Red Sky Driving School ("the School", "we", "us", "our") to any individual ("the Student", "you", "your"). By booking and undertaking driving lessons with Red Sky Driving School, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

1.2. Red Sky Driving School reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be available on request and on our official website www.redskydriving.co.uk Students will be informed of material changes to these Terms.

2.1. All students must hold a valid UK provisional driving licence (or full licence where appropriate) and must produce this for verification prior to the commencement of any lessons.

2.2. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that they are legally entitled to drive in the UK and to notify Red Sky Driving School of any endorsements, medical conditions, or restrictions that could affect their driving ability.

2.3. Students must be able to read a standard vehicle number plate from a distance of 20.5 metres (with corrective lenses if required).

3.1. All lessons are subject to advance booking and availability of instructors and vehicles.

3.2. Payment for lessons must be made in full and in advance by one of the following methods:

• Bank transfer 
• PayPal 
• Cash (by prior agreement only)

3.3. Block bookings and special packages are available at discounted rates; however, these must be paid for in full upfront to qualify for any discount.

3.4. Prices are subject to periodic review. Notice of price changes will be provided in writing or via our official communication channels.

4.1. A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellation or rescheduling of any lesson. Failure to provide adequate notice will result in the full lesson fee being charged.

4.2. If a lesson is cancelled with appropriate notice, it will be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time.

4.3. Red Sky Driving School reserves the right to cancel or reschedule lessons due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., instructor illness, vehicle issues, extreme weather). In such cases, no fee will be charged for rescheduling.

4.4. In cases of persistent cancellations (3 or more), the School reserves the right to reassess future bookings or require payment in advance for all subsequent lessons.

5.1. All driving lessons will be conducted by DVSA-approved and fully qualified driving instructors.

5.2. Instructors will ensure that vehicles are well-maintained, insured, taxed, and fitted with dual controls for safety.

5.3. Instructors will behave in a professional, respectful, and patient manner, providing training in accordance with DVSA guidelines.

6.1. Students must arrive on time for lessons. Time lost due to late arrival may not be made up.

6.2. Students must follow all reasonable instructions given by their instructor.

6.3. Any abusive, aggressive, threatening, or inappropriate behaviour toward instructors or other road users will result in immediate termination of the lesson and may lead to permanent exclusion from Red Sky Driving School.

6.4. Students must not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that could impair driving ability. The instructor reserves the right to cancel the lesson immediately if they suspect impairment. Full fees will still be charged.

7.1. Students are responsible for booking their driving test unless otherwise agreed.

7.2. The instructor may allow the use of the School’s vehicle for a practical driving test if the student is deemed test-ready. This is at the sole discretion of the instructor, based on safety and competence.

7.3. If the instructor deems a student unfit for the test due to safety concerns, the vehicle will not be provided, and any agreed test fees may still be payable.

7.4. Students are advised to discuss test day arrangements (including fees for car hire on the test day) well in advance.

8.1. All School vehicles are insured for driving tuition and practical driving tests.

8.2. Red Sky Driving School accepts no liability for offences committed by students while driving outside of lessons or any accidents resulting from student negligence.

8.3. We are not responsible for driving test cancellations or failures caused by DVSA scheduling issues, examiner availability, adverse weather, or other external factors.

9.1. Refunds on block bookings are available for unused lessons if requested within 14 days of the initial purchase, in accordance with UK consumer rights.

9.2. No refunds are given for lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice unless under exceptional circumstances.

9.3. Refunds for part-used block bookings will be recalculated at the standard lesson rate, and the remaining balance (if any) refunded.

9.4. Refunds will be made via the same method as the original payment within 14 days of approval.

10.1. All personal data provided to Red Sky Driving School is handled in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018.

10.2. Your data will be used solely for the purposes of providing driving tuition and managing bookings and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.

10.3. Full details of our Privacy Policy are available upon request or on our website.

11.1. Red Sky Driving School is committed to providing high-quality service. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please submit your complaint in writing to:

11.2. All complaints will be acknowledged within 5 working days and responded to within 14 working days.

11.3. If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may contact the DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency) for further assistance.

12.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

By booking lessons with Red Sky Driving School, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
